Debbie was telling me today about how tired she is of helping others. Debbie is the kind of person who would do ANYthing for ANYone, but recently, she has grown tired of helping those who continue to make the same mistakes. Due to some of her own personal issues right now, her wick is gone and she's just done. It's like now she needs someone to take care of her...she just can't emotionally help anyone else right now. In her spiel of her lack of patience with those around her who do "stupid" things, she made the most profound comment. She was saying, "I'm just so tiyad of it! I'm SO tiyad. I just can't DEAL wid it anymo, I just CAN'T! But ya know what? I bet God feels that way. Man, I bet God is just tiyad down to his-a nubs! If I was him, I would NOT help anyone else. No ma'am. Not ever. He's GOT to be tiyad! You know gurlll..."
I was telling a cooke last night...she says things that are so hilarious and off the wall, but then she'll say something that is hilarious and spot on. She's so right.
Praise God for his unfathomable and never ending faithfulness, patience and forgiveness.
